Boo -- tterfly

 

I just had to end the month of October Flutterby Wednesday open challenges with a Boo – tterfly card!!!  Besides the fact that I had three projects to do today and this was a quick and easy card.  I lay in bed last night thinking about my projects for today and came up with this idea.  It’s good that this one was so easy because the other two projects didn’t work out the way I thought they would.  I like how they turned out but the planning wasn’t all there so it took a little too much time!!!  I posted one just before this post and I will post the other as soon as I get done here.

The paper is from Debbie Mumm.  I used the MS butterfly punch for the layered butterfly and the MS border punch (I think it’s called Drippy Goo) that I won in the Saturday Spotlight candy!  I have to tell you that there was so much ribbon in that giveaway that I had to start a new box for all my ribbon!!!  That’s a good thing!

I didn’t think to look for a sketch for this card.  I just used my go to quick and simple sketch.  The Cute Daisy May challenge is Halloween.

Daisy May's Buttons

Three challenges this time. I used the sketch from the Cupcake Craft Challenge. Cafe Mojo's challenge is to use buttons and the Cute Daisy May challenge is to use glitter. You can't tell much from the picture but the paper has glitter and also Daisy May has glitter on her hair bow and on the ruffles on her skirt and bloomers.

Of course, the image is a Cute Daisy May digi stamp and I did her with watercolors.

It has been beautiful around here for the last couple of days. I had a meeting to go to this evening (more about that tomorrow) and the thermo in my car read 88. I can't believe it is that warm in April. It's supposed to be 81 tomorrow but then 57 on Thursday. I'll be out in the garden for awhile tomorrow. I want to clean out some flower beds and spray Roundup on the weeds in my yet to be planted garden. I hope to spend at least an hour out there each day so I can get the flower beds looking good.

You see if I tell everyone I'm going to do it, then I have to, right? You ladies have to keep me honest now!

Yellow Parasol and Catching Butterflies

Isn't she just the cutest!!! I used the sketch from Crafts for Eternity except it doesn't meet the challenge because it doesn't have a rabbit!!! Cute Card Thursday's challenge is citrus colors and Simon Says is yellow and green.

She's pretty cute too, huh? I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday and that's all for this one.

Both images are Cute Daisy May downloads. I'm really liking the digital images because you can do so much with them. I used the watercolor pencils, AGAIN. I'm getting stuck in a rut, but it works for me.

That's it for tonight. I'm takin' the pup out and goin' to bed. They changed my late night TV schedule so maybe it will get me in bed earlier!!!
