Have a great weekend all!!!  I’m headed to Utah for doctors appointments—again!!!  I’ll have a great time though spending time with my sister and niece.  My niece is a huge British Royals fan so I’m sure we’ll be having a Royal wedding watching party!!!

Next week sometime I’m going to stop by the Cosmo Cricket warehouse.  I commented on Julie Comstock’s Facebook post about her Circa quilting fabric and she said to stop by and she’d give me a look.  How exciting is that!!! 

A couple of weeks ago my sis and I went on the local quilt shop hop and I bought a couple of pieces of fabric (pink and turquoise prints—my favorite colors) to use in my studio.  I think some of the Circa prints will coordinate well with the fabric I already have!!!  I’m going to add a little red and maybe yellow and/or some green.

So that’s my plan!!!  What’s yours?

Pixie-licious Wishes

I’m late today with my Paper Maniac Inspiration blog post.  I usually post before I go to bed on Monday night but I felt a migraine coming on last night so went to bed early with medication but woke up with it anyway!!! 

Anyway, on to my card.  I used the fun Cosmo Cricket Pixie-licious paper and cardstock sticker.  I also used the Hero Arts Essential Sentiments stamp set as well as some Basic Grey buttons.  Love these!!!

Spring Showers Mixed Media Collage

I have such a treat for you today!!!  The very talented May Flaum has a tutorial for us to share. 

Here’s what May says about herself on her blog.

Artsy Rose

Hi all!  It’s my day again for the Paper Maniac Inspiration blog!

I used some of my fave stamps and papers for my card today.  The stamps are by Unity from the June 2010 Store Kit (on sale this month).  The beautiful papers are GCD Artsy Urban. 

I applied Distress Ink (Worn Lipstick, Barn Door and Aged Mahogany for the rose and Peeled Paint and Forest Moss for the  leaves and shading) directly to the rose stamp, cut it out with my Nestabillities and then applied more DI to the edges of the die cut.

Speaking of sale, all the Unity stamps are on sale this month!!!

I used the sketch from  Moving Along with the Times.

Easter Breeze

 

I’m seriously in love with the image, Easter Breeze, that I worked with this week for the McMahon Five Designs release.  She is so gorgeous!!!  I used dp from the Prima and the gorgeous Prima butterfly.  Plus, the Tim Holtz Sizzix Elegant Flourish die—all from the McMahon Five Designs store!!!
