Flutterby Wednesday – Clothespin Fairy

It’s Wednesday once again and that means it’s (can you say it), Flutterby Wednesday over at Danni’s Dreams.  I have a fun card to share with you today.  I guess every time there is a butterfly or a fairy on a card, it‘s a fun card!

fbw 6-24 clothes pin fairy

I water colored the free digi download from Inky Impressions and added sparkle on the fairies wings with Shimmerz Pixie Dust.  The DP is from Provo Craft and the jewels and ribbon are from my stash.

I used the sketch from The Fresh Batch (Stamps and Smiles), Allsorts challenge is wings and the Pile it On challenge is purple.  I’ve got all of them covered!

Beginning this week we are changing things up a little.  The design team is going to start setting the challenges (except the weeks when we have a guest designer).  This weeks challenge is by Kimmie and it’s called Spring Fever since we are all ready to get outside and enjoy the weather. Just create an outdoorsy card with a butterfly or fairy.

Go over to each of the DT member’s blogs (links on my sidebar) and to Dani’s blog and see some beautiful examples for inspiration; make your creation and go back to Dani’s blog to put a link to your card in Mr. Linky.

That’s it!

Blessings,

Christine

Christine: I caught up on posts! All your cards are precious. Can't wait to see what you are doing for the bridal shower invites. I'm following along on the wedding! I hope you will have pics of all events.

My sorting continues. I have the trims about done by color and now I'm trying to determine how to categorize all the papers...new and vintage.

Love visiting. I always learn so much about your creative world.

You've been making some very cute cards! I really like the long one to go in the long envelopes. Very clever! Thanks for letting us know about the Provo Craft preview of new products next week! Spellbinders is having a preview this week of some absolutely beautiful new dies. You'll have to check out their blog.
Have a great day!
